- Who should join in?
- The OVPS and Student Mental Health are committed to hearing from the diversity of student voices across the University to inform our planning and priorities. Your participation helps to ensure our work reflects the perspectives of current students and improves the experience of future students at U of T.
- Where do I find the form?
- Please complete the SMHAC Application Form.
- How long will it take to apply?
- The form will take less than 15 minutes to complete. There will be a rolling review of applications, then there will be a brief interview process for final candidates in June 2026. The first meeting will be in the fall of 2026.
- When will I find out whether I’m on the Committee?
- We will advise successful applicants between July and August 2026. Please apply early though, to allow time for a thoughtful review of your qualifications and experience.
- How much time do I need to commit?
- Members will be asked to attend two 90-minute virtual meetings in the Fall and Winter semesters. Membership is a two-year term; overall continuity of membership will be maintained by having 50% of the committee in its first year and 50% in its second year of the term.
- Who will see my application?
- The committee of the Senior Executive Director, Director, and the Chair will review all applications. Learn more about how we’re keeping your information safe. During meetings you’ll have the option of using a pseudonym to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
