Carol Rolheiser
Professor Carol Rolheiser brings a wealth of teaching and administrative experience to her role as Director of the Centre for Teaching Support and Innovation (CTSI).
The former Associate Dean, Teacher Education, of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto (OISE), Professor Rolheiser is an award-winning educator and researcher, with a Ph.D. in teacher education from the University of Oregon. Her research interests include the redesign of teacher education, instructional and assessment innovation, teacher development, school improvement, school/district/university partnerships, leadership, system reform and managing educational change. She has published widely on these topics and consults regularly on curriculum and instructional program design. Professor Rolheiser is the past recipient of several teaching awards, including the inaugural University of Toronto President’s Teaching Award and the Canadian College of Teachers’ Teacher of the Year.
